Well, we close on the 16th of November, a week early!!! This gives me an ENTIRE week of prep. Painting, moving the easy stuff, etc. I am going to bring over our small TV, buy an inexpensive DVD player and the Emma's Dora couch. They can do that while I paint and move stuff.
My BIG downer....
My weight... I looked at all the pics from Locomotion and am appalled by the pics of me. I only had one of myself but another woman had some of all of us...including me. Ish! I am totally mortified. I don't have any excuse other than I am lazy and eat too much! LOL I will get a hold of my weight some day.....just not today! LOL Soon.......
This is the rantings of a WAHM of five children, and military wife. I have been married to a wonderful man for 15 years. This is where I go to vent anything and everything that is bothering me. Enjoy!

Girl Scout Locomotion!
WOW! I had the best time! From SWAPS to great food, it was an awesome event. I didn't get to see any gators or snakes this time, but I did see the biggest FROG I have ever seen!
The first night was pretty warm. I woke up hot and sweaty in the middle of the night. I also woke up thinking I heard a snake slither into our bunk room. I looked under all the beds from the safety of my bed with my flashlight. The second night, about nine of us moved our mattresses to the living area and slept on the floor. I was so paranoid that a Palmetto bug (MONSTER COCKROACH) would get in bed with me. I talked a bit in my sleep, stood up once, and sat up about a million times that night. We had a good laugh in the morning about it!
Seriously, I had an awesome time. I learned a lot and got to really know my service branch members. I cannot wait until next year!

The house is officially ours!
Yes, it is official now! On Saturday, we opened our escrow account and today we signed the contract on the house. The "for sale" sign is down and a "SOLD" sign is in its stead. Woo Hoo! I am so excited and happy!!! We will close the week of Thanksgiving and will move in that weekend. Thank God we will be going to our friend Kennedy's house for dinner! LOL WoW! I am still in disbelieve.......I need to start packing!!
The other good thing going on is all the Girl Scout activities that are planned: Dixie Stampede, Disney on Ice, Juliette Low party....by the time it is all over, there will be two weeks to go!

Crappy dream
I had the crappiest dream ever last night. Lord, I hate dreams like that. It was one of those,"I had an F'd up childhood" dreams that had my step dad giving me hell in it. I was also pulled over by police by the them shooting out one of my tires. Told ya it was messed up!
I am also worried about finances. We have money but I am just so worried over it all falling through the cracks like usual. I don't want to jeopardize purchase of our new house by stupid mistakes! I will keep on it and just hope for the best.
Now that was a stupid response. I WILL take hold of it all and we will be fine.

Still waiting!
Yes, we have to wait until the week of Thanksgiving to buy our house. That is when we get our downpayment. Do you know how hard it is to wait that long? The good thing is they are replacing the carpet today. Mind you it is a new house and no one has ever lived in it but there were some minor flaws. They decided to completely replace ALL the carpet. They are also doing the touch up paint and all that stuff. Luckily, after all the events we have planned in October, it should go by faster. Shoot, after we take the troop to Dixie Stampede in the beginning of November, we only have three weeks to go!
