Yeah, it has been one of those week! Dang, seriously this whole MONTH has been nuts! Emma doesn't even realize she has an owie. That is good. She is doing well and has a big girl bed now. Well, she isn't using it until later but we have it. Emma tried to sleep in it last night but kept getting out of bed.
This is the deal behind her bed. On Sunday, we went to Once Upon a Child to check it out and to see how I could go about selling this stroller I have.(this is one of the shopping spots I hit before her injury.)I ended up spending $12 on about 4 outfits for Emma, all name brands! I brought in the stroller the next day and got $20 store credit for it. I bought Michael and Emma more clothes. Well, I spoke with one of the ladies about bringing in another toddler bed to sell.
Next day, Tuesday, I brought in Michael's old firetruck toddler bed and a sit and stand stroller. (I have MANY strollers. STROLLER QUEEN!) I had enough to buy Emma a cottage toddler bed! I am so pleased! So is she. She is so not ready for it but we have it just the same. I couldn't pass on the deal seeing as they don't make them anymore.
I have to go catch up on cleaning. ESPECIALLY LAUNDRY! Oh, I found out I am NOT pregnant, for real. I guess that when you take antibiotics, it lowers the protection you have on birth control. No one told me about it last month so I was worried. ~WHEW!!!~ Not ready to go there, if again at all!
This is the rantings of a WAHM of five children, and military wife. I have been married to a wonderful man for 15 years. This is where I go to vent anything and everything that is bothering me. Enjoy!

Emma was insured
Yes, another injury for our family. Emma fell out of my van and landed on a bolt that holds one of the legs of our car port. Yet another reason to buy the new house. A garage! She had three staples put in her head. At least that didn't hurt her. Her doctor put some numbing ointment on it and let it sit for about an hour. Afterwards he put them in without even a flinch from Emma. It doesn't look that bad actually. Seven hours at the hospital whooped my butt, that is for sure. I am ready to go and get the house back in order now that I am feeling better. I am still having really bad headaches but other than that, I am doing well. Off the schedule an appointment for my eye exam......

I need to air some things
I really need to vent and get things out. First off, I have been ill. Constant headaches are apart of my life right now. I have one everyday. My dr gave me stuff for dizziness, and two different headache medicines. I am so tired too! I would love to just get better and not be tired all the time!
The biggest thing on my mind again is that we are entertaining the thought of buying a house again. At first, we weren't going to do it because we didn't want to reenlist JUST for buying a house here. We were going to wait. This way he would get much more money. Well, to get extended to where he wants to be, he has to reenlist anyway. We were thinking of buying the house now, again. Buying the house is not the reason we are reenlisting now. This time, it would be because we want to.
I went over finances last night and found out it would cost us about $130 more to live in a brand new house over this falling apart mess. Plus, we could make some money off of it all in the end. Mind you that number goes up and down, depending on the season. I really went overboard on the numbers so more likely than not, the number will be even lower.
We also went over the pros and cons of both. The pros way outweighed the cons. I just don't want to rush into it all. I really think there is a reason God had us wait a bit. We will just have to wait and see how it all goes!

I am done with this week!
I am about done with this week already! First off, I was given all kinds of meds to help with different ailments. Dizziness, headaches and some super duper motrin. I am just plain tired today. I feel much better though.
I started a new troop web page. The other one just wasn't working for me. The one I built can be accessed my Latisha, the other leader. I really wanted her to be able to go in and add what she wants. The other two pages I built were just not what I thought our page should be. These I will not put out. Anyone can look at my pages but these should only be viewed by the parents and the girls. Privacy issues.....

Still sick!
Well, I am still sick....I woke up dizzy and lightheaded as all get out. I went back to sleep after dropping the girls off. Michael was running a temp and Emma was not willing to get up. I woke up at around 12 still dizzy. Damn! It is 8pm now and I am still dealing with it. I made an appointment for tomorrow to get checked. Plus, I need a referral for an eye exam. That saves us like $60. Then I just pay for the glasses. Can't beat that! I have a coupon from getting Lizzie's glasses for $165 off of the lenses. Cool, huh?
I am hoping all of these headaches and dizziness is just my need for new glasses. That or it might be from my massage last weekend. She really did a number on my nodes at the base of my head. That WAS the spot that was killing me on Sunday.

What a weekend!!
Yeah, this weekend was rough. We went to my sil's house. That was fine. I totally dig that! The only problem was I started getting sick while we were there. I mean sick....nausea, headache, just down right crappy. Yesterday, Sunday I was even sicker. I kind of just laid there on the couch in agony. The whole back of my head hurt. It felt like my brain (yes I have one!) was going to fall out. I took a small nap but still was just under the weather. I am much better today! I went to the bank, Walmart, did a few loads of laundry cleaned the down stairs bathroom, did some dishes and mopped the entire kitchen. Yes, I did a lot....
Talk about an awesome ending to Six Feet Under last night....WOW! I really liked how they pushed through time, showing how everyone pasted on. Claire lived FOREVER..... Finally, a show that knows how to end it properly, without just leaving it hanging......
I should go do some dishes and clean my own bathroom. I can get to the kids bathroom tomorrow........

I got my stroller!
I got Emma's new stroller through Fedex today. I LOOOOVE it!! It is a Silver Cross micro stroller. BEAUTIFUL! It is all black with pink accents. It came with a free acsot set if you get sick of the black and pink. I don't think I could though. That is why I bought it! Emma adores her new stroller. I like the fact that it is super lightweight and is easy to set up and use. Usually strollers have short handles...not this one! OK....enough....I have been high all day, if you couldn't tell. Not by any type of substance, thank you very much. (I only did that here and there in high school ;0) ) I really hope I don't have a drop off of this great UP.
This weekend I am going to visit my beloved sister in law. Of course I get to see my nephew and hold my brand, new neice as well! Can't wait!!
The only thing that I dread is when Mike gets home tonight. He has a chief thing tonight called 'the dining in.' Pretty much, the new chief inductees serve them dinner AND alcohol in their chokers. (their formal wear) I know he is going to get wasted. His 2 times a year will be tonight. As long as he pukes in the toilet, I am cool!

keep on keepin' on!
Yeah, I am not goofing with saying I am pregnant. I woke night before last half asleep horrified because I thought I was pregnant for real. It was one of those times when you think clearly and think it is true but you are still kind of dreaming but awake. Yeah, ok...that made no sense.... Well, no more goofing like that!
Everyone has been sick in the house. We actually slept in yesterday. I went back to bed after dropping the girls at school. Emma didn't wake up at all and MIchael woke up long enough to go the the bathroom. Poor kid sounded like a seal! Mike even came home early from work sick and switched night duty instructor days from yesterday to today. Those aren't really that bad though. He tutors the students from 6-9. Only three hours. Soooo much better than he old over night duties where it lasting into the next day. He occasionally has a duty where he goes from 7pm to 7am. His job is to babysit kids that are on restriction, transferring or on suicide watch. Fun huh? Oh, lord some of the stuff that goes on there sometimes. This one chick was on suicide watch. Well, she had to go to the bathroom and has to be watched while she goes, just in case she tries something. Well, one guy watches her and another guy watches the first guy, to protect them from sexual harrassment. Well, the one guy thought it was so gross that he had to watch some girl make a bowel movement and complained to my dh. LOL Think about it. All of these kids are usually between the ages of 18 and 21. No maturity yet.
Anyway, this morning I am going to shower, go grocery shopping and then clean. What a fun day!!

yet another change!
I am really pregnant! Kidding!! Seriously, we aren't having anymore. My dh talked to his carreer counselor today about the house thing. Well, if he waits to reenlist 2 more years, we will get about 47,000 up front instead of 25,000. The whole reason we were considering a house again is to sell it for more than we bought for more money down on a house is VA. Well, this way we get the money no ifs, ands, or buts. We don't have to play the sell the same time we buy game. I am so much at ease about it all now! I really wasn't fully down with doing the whole building a house thing. I have seen two families go through too much with new houses. I would be willing to put up with it IF we were staying longer than 2 1/2 years. I also did not want to risk any tax penalties from selling so early.
~DEEP, RELAXED BREATH~
Well, one change that is happening FOR REAL is we are turning our fifth bedroom into a TV/playroom in October. All I need to buy is a cheap TV stand and a futon frame. I knew I should hang onto our futon mattress! No more jumping off of my dresser onto my bed! My room will now become off limits, now that the TV will move out of it!

OOOH! I forgot about the day spa!
I can't believe I didn't post about my trip to the dayspa! Oh, my gosh I had a great time! My sil and I planned a great Saturday of pampering. She was going back to work and I have four kids. Enought said, right? Nah, I had needed it for a while.
Anyway, I started with a manicure and pedicure. She wasn't very good but it felt good! Then I went in back and had my massage. Ahhhhhh.....Then I had the salt scrub. Talk about great feeling! What it intails is having sea salts rubbed vigerously on your legs, arms, back, and stomach. All the dead skin is removed, leaving soft skin.
Then I showered and she did the mud wrap. I was left with that on for a while. Time just stood still so I don't really know how long it was on. After that I showered. Patty and I then got to sit with each other in our robes and had a smoothy and muffin. She had a guy do her massage. Nicolai. Really good looking Russian! He had done massage in Mexico, off cruise ships....you get the idea. Well, he farted while he was massaging her. Not a big deal right? Well, he told her he was so embarrassed! LOL
My favorite part of my spa treatments was the facial. OOOOHH I love facials! All the cleaning and massaging of my face, hands and feet.........I was just glowing when I got home! Boy, the trip home was hilarious. We both felt higher than a kite, if you know what I mean. Just laughing and being obnoxious! I even went the wrong way at first in the parking garage! LOL Over all, it was awesome! We found out that Patty Petty, Richard Petty's wife had gone there the weekend before!
I am starting Michael this week on his workbook. I know he will pick it up quickly and is very eager to learn. I hope he stays positive about learning through his life. I plan to make it fun for him. I will post on how that turns out!

The big change is....
I'm pregnant! No kidding! LOL We are building a house! We have thought a lot about it lately and a good deal has fallen into our laps. It is a beautiful 4 bedroom with a bonus room. I plan on turning the bonus room into a play room for the kids. I also plan to turn the formal livingroom into a den for Mike. What am I going to do with a formal livingroom?
The cool thing is that our mortgage will be less than our BAH. How cool is that. We have talked to one of the other chiefs that lives in the neighborhood about the utilities and they seem to run low. The school is just down the street and is great. I will probably continue to have the girls do Girl Scouts out of the base school. I am not going to leave Latisha all by herself. I will post new info as we go!

a new chapter?
We might be starting a new chapter in our life here soon! I can't say exactly what it is quite yet but it is definitely good! This is one of those things you don't want to say something about and jinx yourself. Hopefully, in the near future, I will be announcing our family's change of plans!!

Lots to do today!!
I am really looking forward to this weekend! I am going to a day spa with my lovely sil. We will be getting a salt scrub, mud wrap, facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, and makeup refresher. Of course I wear very little makeup anyway, so anything would be a refresher. LOL
My mood has been very "UP" lately. Things are going well now that the girls are in school. I still need to buy them some more clothes. The only suck *ss thing about living in the south is that there is no point in buying new jeans until October, November. It is too hot here for them! Then again, it is a good thing because the kids can get by with nice summer clothes. Target has a great, inexpensive section for just that! It can hold us off until our bonus in October. Then I will go hog wild and get them some school clothes.
~~OFF TO CLEAN!!!~~~
yippie right? LOL

Doing good!
Things are going so good right now. I am just waiting for the brick to fall. Finances are staightening out, my fitness goals are coming along and my biggest thing is my sleep and wake periods are getting sorted out. I have to admit, it was so hard to stay up today.......Emma got up with the girls and I knew if Michael will be successful with staying dry at night, I had to wake him and keep him on a normal schedule. My goals are really coming through and getting met! Now, I need to get into a good fitness routine and prepare Michael for learning at home.
When I lie in bed, trying to sleep, I am ready to go with going for walks, doing my pilates, or using the treadmill. You know, I used to WISH with all my might that I had a treadmill so I wouldn't have to go out in the heat. Now I have one, and never use it. It is in Mike's room, which is not in view of Emma. I wouldn't mind walking today but it is wet and rainy. Maybe I can fit it in when the girls get home from school. That is my dead, "I need energy" time. I just stuggle to stay awake and keep going. This would give the girls some down time from school instead of jumping right into homework. Then I can sneak off to the treadmill for 20 minutes. Let's face it! It will take me a while to work myself up to a good time. Then when I get a bit more fit, I can walk in the mornings. By then it will have cooled into the 70's.

The first day of school
Today......the first day of school......YIPPEE!!!
Seriously, it is great that the girls get to go off to school. They need to get their minds molded and the social interaction. I get a break from them but honestly, it is Emma I need a break from. Can she go to school?
Things are off to a good start here, minus being tired as all get out! I didn't get much sleep and could use a nap. Hopefully this will get Emma on the right time for bed. Oh, I also suckered into buying a three pack of babas. I have had no sleep in the past week from weaning her. I will take them away again when we are back on schedule.

Emma's Birthday!!
Yes! Today my baby turned 2!! What a great weekend it has been!!!
To start, my mom has moved out of her abusive relationship of 26 years....He had a DUI and was put in the workhouse for the weekend. She took the oportunity to move her stuff into it while he was gone. We will finally be able to go home to MN to visit!
Our printer broke last month. It just would not feed the paper through! Well, our warranty came through and we got a brand new one! Shoot, the one we had was less than a year old.
My greatest news is my youngest has turned two! We took her shopping and bought her a little Dora doll, a stuffed puppy, and a small magnadoodle. She wanted a Dora chair but her Auntie is getting her one this week. She loved her Dora cake! Could you catch on that she LOVES Dora?
I must call it quits. She needs to go to sleepys. Ooh, and she is off of her babas completely!!

Hey! What happened to my post!
This will just be a reiteration. I seem to post more about the bad stuff. Well, this is a venting blog but I would love to put in the good stuff now. Well, now that I am having more pleasing days, I will!
The best news lately is that my trash, annoying neighbors have moved out this week! Yippee!!!! Seriously, I couldn't stand them at ALL. I spoke with my neighbor directly next to me, the one who was connected to them, and they got screwed by them. Money, a nail in his motorcycle tire, etc. Loong story.
Things seriously have been going well right now. I guess the new computer has helped. LOL I was also really looking forward to Girl Scouts. I really am looking forward to working with Letisha, the new leader of our troop. I really hope she sticks to her guns about this checking account thing. I know she is a strong woman and will hold her own.....Plus, she too wants to bring this troop up to par.
